We are proud to offer our community a state of the art indoor aquatic facility serving children from the age of 4 months. By combining our extensive research with an excellent design team, we were able to incorporate the best practices of both design, and methodology. We are also proud members of the United States Swimming School Association and Safer3. We are very excited to offer our community a local swimming school.

Pengu Swim School is a wonderful place for children. Due to the pandemic they have taken measures to protect everyone. Someone was waiting outside to check us in, take our temperatures, have us wait until about 5 minutes before class time. Inside everyone waits on marked spots on the floor (social distancing), chairs are spaced far apart, classes are small, all adults wear masks and they clean the chairs as soon as we are asked to come into the pool area to pick up the children. I feel very confident about the precautions Pengu is taking to protect everyone! As for the classes, the children are becoming confident swimmers and the instructors are all terrific in their instruction. ~ C. K
Coach Nick taught my boys to swim after years of off and on lessons at every other place in Houston. The difference here was that Coach Nick let them test and improve their abilities every day instead of coddling them or scaring them. Most importantly he made it fun so they actually worked hard for him. Pengu always has two lifeguards watching the whole pool at all times in addition to all the swim teachers in the pool. That was not the case at other places we’ve had lessons. I love the extra attention to safety here and the incentives they give kids like accomplishment ribbons or ringing the bell when they reach milestones. This is the first place we’ve swam where my kids are excited instead of fighting me every time we have a lesson. ~ Rachel E
My husband and I just recently started taking our daughter here for swim lessons for the first time (she's 3). We are very pleased with the lessons she is receiving, the instructors are so sweet to her and teach her so much. Everyone that works there that I have come in contact with has been nothing but friendly and helpful. Also, I can't say enough nice things about Jackie. She helped my husband and I get into a class when we first tried to sign up and all classes were full. She has gone above and beyond for us and our little girl from greeting us when she sees us and always making my little girl feel like a princess. I would definitely recommend this place! ~ Adrienne H
